Lol. I agree with Peggy's answer. It is by the ocean, btw
No, the outlaws bar and grill is across the parking lot from us.
No they do not. The health department has found that washed human hands are generally cleaner than plastic gloves. https://www.google.com/amp/www.latimes.com/local/politics/la-me-glove-law-20140627-story.html%3foutputType=amp
Excellent place
Great coffee and tea. The food is good as well. The avocado toast is delicious!
Great neighborhood cafe. The best coffee, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.
Down home.
This is your quintessential cute, quaint, no frills but everything you need it to be coffee shop. It’s a quiet place with a relaxed attitude. It always has a great, small, diverse crowd every time I visit with a couple quiet conversations on side tables, a couple readers and one or two worker bees. Great tasting coffee and bagels promptly served up.
Quaint space for a different type of coffee break
Incredibly quaint local shop. So glad a cloent suggested we go there. And the sevice was Impeccable. We'll definitely be going more often, when we're here in town for work.
Their tea barista was very friendly and knowledgeable about tea. I'd like to see a little face lift, but cute and original. Not a corporate chain. That is what we like in groovy Playa del Rey
Very cozy and authentic coffee shop. Feels like you are in New York. Specially with the prices.
Decent coffee shop. Limited seating. Food has been slow to come the few times I’ve been there. Register workers can be somewhat lax when there is a long line.
Very few places sell quality white tea. It's expensive to produce and acquire in the states. They have a blend from China that is excellent. Coffee selection is always great as well. Support a local establishment!
Fun coffee breakfast place close to beach
Stopped in as I was traveling through. It was a Saturday and they were pretty busy but the service was pretty good and the coffee was great. Nice atmosphere.
Great coffee but a little overpriced. Definitely worth trying.
Recommend this nice local coffee shop with courteous service and good prices. Locals and travelers alike congregate here for sustenance, coffee and conversation. Interior displays historical photos of the area which is cool. Choices of food widely range to try and satisfy different diets.
This place is a typical coffee shop. It's perfect for the area. It's chill with good prices.
Friendly, local coffee place, with great breakfast bagels and amazing coffee. Been coming in every Saturday and Sunday morning to the same friendly faces for a long time, always a wonderful start to the weekend.
Perfect example of an iconic true coffee shop. The owners are very nice and roast some very tasty beans! My favorite take home whole beans are the Brazilian. This is a funky little spot. For the longest time I didn't realize that you could park in their parking lot....but you can! Don't risk a parking ticket. Also lots of birds will poop on your car if you park under the power wires. This is a great place to study and read.
Great all around neighborhood hangout/ coffee shop. Quirky and cool, just like Playa!!
A amazing roll over jeep
Tanners is awesome, great place right next to the beach. I like the Daltons Shivering blended drinks. The coffee is pretty good. Ice Coffee needs some love though....This place is a great stop if you are traveling by on the bike path. The interior can be a bit stuffy but if you can get past that, its a great dive coffee shop. They have another location in Culver City that is awesome. Its also nice to have a break from the corporate empire aka Starbucks.
Charming hip coffee shop with a great Vanilla Chai Latte. Comfortable chairs to hang out in and great customer service!
Great coffee and I will always support the small coffee house experience.....but I wish Dutch Bros would come to town...Born n breed in Oregon...Dutch Bros
The coffee and tea is great, and you've got plenty of choices. The baked goods are fresh and way too delicious for someone on a diet, so watch out--you might get addicted to that chocolate croissant. Relaxed staff makes an effort to make everyone feel welcome.
Took a vacation and stayed in Playa Del Rey and I’m so glad we found this coffee shop. It was a few minute walks from our air bnb and we went only twice but I wish we could have gone more! The latte was the best one I have ever had! Their breakfast sandwiches were very good too. Everyone was also very friendly.
Love their spinach croissant, delicious
I feel extremely fortunate this coffee shop is on walking distance. I love their chai tea latte, and they serve coffee better than those big franchises. Fast service n friendly. It’s cute little place on Playa. But wish they were open little late.
Great service and atmosphere!
Worst coffee I’ve ever had... I’m sorry I hate leaving 1 stars but I immediately threw out my latte... I wish I didn’t waste $10 here
Great bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. Marvelous, I don’t know- that’s the word that came to mind when I think of that sandwich. Coffee was solid and strong. Would come here again when it’s less busy. We went on a weekend morning, it was busy with nowhere to sit, we took it to go.
This is what I miss! Cute, privately owned coffee shop with mismatched furniture, outdoor seating, gluten free and vegan treats, lots of windows for natural light and...super good coffee! Hard to find places like these now that Starbucks has taken over the world. Come support these peeps! I'm going to come and study here more often.
Great local coffee shop. Chill vibe. WIFI. Excellent coffee cake!
Great place too sit and relax and chit chat with some of the locals... They have good coffee and even something to munch...
This rating is for their cold brewed coffee. Wow. As someone who's brewed their own for over 12 years, Tanner's blend of roasts absolutely nails it...best I've ever had, period. 😍
Very "I'm working on my script on my macbook" vibe. Not a bad thing! I had a cold brew, it tasted just like a cold brew so... so that's good...
A local gem. The most delicious coffee from the friendliest staff. I stopped here every morning while staying in Playa and can't wait to return in the future!
A cozy lil coffee spot nearest one of my favorite bike trails. They have a nice variety of snacks, cakes, muffins and breads to satisfy your juice, tea, or coffee special fix. I had the pumpkin spice latte. I'ma pumpkin fool. They have WiFi and restroom access. Cozy, cool and local Art work for sale. This is a win-win no brainer local coffee spot that adds to the abviance of Marina Del Rey. Love it. Like it. Done!
Fantastic stop. Good tea. Good coffee. Great atmosphere. Lots of local presence in the shop. Definitely recommend
Nice staff great coffee and food!
Really nice place and good coffee too!
Open place. They leave you alone. Good place to work. Excellent service
Cool outdoor seating, quirky interior and an extensive menu of coffee and tea options plus a ton of baked goods, breakfast and smoothies!
Goooooooooooood service and big lox💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
best dirty chai around. friendly staff and great selection of options for everyone.
great coffee and must have the coffee cake! so nice there is parking as well. great place to work on your laptop, free wifi and can sit inside or outside.
You got to love tanners, I had a cold brew in there 2 days ago and I'm still awake! Just kidding. Great little cozy Coffee Shop down by the beach in Playa del Rey. It's mostly a locals place except for early in the morning the commuters stop for their coffee. We have a wide variety of sandwiches and pastries along with iced coffees and teas.I was there for a meeting which went well oh, there was plenty of room and lots of different types of seating areas. It's not real big they do have a small bathroom as well and they're priced accordingly. EnjoyIf you find my reviews helpful please hit like and follow
Can't wait to come back.
Beat ambience of any coffee shop I've been to in LA. Sick spot to caffeinated and chill, comfy as F couches and chairs.
Horrible food at very expensive prices. 3 snacks and 3 coffees $55. The sandwiches are aweful tasting and very small. no coffee refills either.
Casual quick and great coffee! It's an easy place to just kick back or grab and go. Drew was great.
